Yves Saint Laurent has died at 71. He is credited with, among other things, introducing the pantsuit to American women. Above is one of his jackets I loved to wear.

Since Geraldo was on tv tonight saying Hillary got "screwed" yesterday by the DNC, that she has won the popular vote and is the better candidate, I thought I'd share this photo of Geraldo and me from 1998 in which I'm wearing the pictured YSL jacket.

I'm taking the afternoon off from blogging. Here's two of my favorites, the first from the 9/11/ Concert for New York City that seem appropriate today -- the Goo Goo Dolls "American Girl" and the second, my favorite version of BonJovi's "Living on a Prayer", from the 2005 Live Aid concert.

Also, John Rzeznik and Jon Bon Jovi are two of my favorite faces to look at.

Oh, Hendrik Hertzberg loves Chris Matthews. The Malign Acceptance of Sexism and Misogyny right before your eyes from one of our fine "progressive" writers. Frankly, this is just inexcusbale. Digby does it up right. What a disgrace.

The candidates are definitely tired. Here's Barack Obama in New Mexico on Memorial Day, opening his speech with:
