Friday Night Open Thread: Revolution

Look what's happening out in the streets
Got a revolution, got to revolution
Hey I'm dancing down the streets
Got a revolution got to revolution

...Hey now it's time for you and me
Got a revolution, Got to revolution
Come on now we're marching to the sea
Got a revolution, got to revolution
Who will take it from you?
We will and who are we?
we are volunteers...

Tuesday Open Thread: Snow Day

It's not quite the blizzard of 2006 (more photos here), but there's really a lot of snow falling and it's cold -- 1 degree right now. Tonight may get down to 8 below (and that's actual temp, wind chill will be much lower.)

While I get up to speed on the news (I'm not driving anywhere today), here's an open thread, all topics welcome.

Sunday Afternoon Open Thread

What's the White House serving for the Super Bowl? Hotdogs, hamburgers, pizza and ice cream. What's on your menu?

Sam Elliott has a great voice. It looks cold in Dallas. Here's Christina Aguilera and the national anthem, only they just went to commercial. (Ok, there she is, I think she did great, even though she missed a few words, and I loved her shoes.)

Update: The line "O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming" came out "What so proudly we watched as the twilight's last gleaming"

Whether you're watching the Super Bowl or not, here's an open thread, all topics welcome.

Today is National Signing Day for college football recruits. In the only news that matters, new Florida coach Will Muschamp is doing decently in holding the recruits Urban Meyer had lines up, but is not adding much to the class. Probably a Top 15 class. Next year is when you can judge Muschamp on recruiting.
