Huckabee Drops Out, McCain Will Be Nominee

I'm sorry to see Mike Huckabee go. But, he just dropped out. McCain is the Republican nominee. He has at least 1191 delegates.

Huckabee will now be a uniter.

The margin must be good, otherwise they won't announce it this soon.

Why didn't CNN break in to announce this - rather than running Huckabee for so long?

    Hmmmmm....

I just heard it from an Obama commentator on CNN, and I'm sure the Obamabots will follow suit. "Now that McCain has won the nomination, there will be immense pressure for Mrs. Clinton to drop out." Yep, you heard it here first. Then he said "And if she doesn't win both Texas and Ohio big, she'll have to drop out." Can they be any more predictable than that?

Huckabee accomplished what he set out to accomplish, which, IMHO, is to become the voice of the Xtian right, and either get the VP nod, or have veto power over it.

Good grief Huck is long winded. nt (5.00 / 2) (#15)
