VP Dick Cheney told CNN he may be a witness at the Scooter Libby trial.

Libby is "one of the finest men I've ever known," Cheney said, then declined further comment. "I may be called as a witness."

    cheney is unbelievable... watching pbs' "the dark side" made my blood run cold...
    "What the Democrats are suggesting basically you can call it withdrawal, you can call it redeployment, whatever you want to call it, basically it's -- in effect, validates the terrorist strategy," Cheney said.

    What's he going to testify to: that HE really had all the power and Libby was just carrying out orders, and his conscience just can deal with it anymore?

    Good point Che...Scooter probably saw that as more of a threat than a compliment. I doubt Dick could get through the session without using the F word a few times. Nope, I'd much rather have Rumsfeld testify on my behalf. At least no one would be able to decipher what the hell he was testifying to.
