The Nevada Culinary Workers Union, with 60,000 members including the state's casino workers, endorsed Barack Obama late last night.

Nevada's primary is January 19. The Democratic turnout is expected to be 40,000. Here's some analysis from the Las Vegas Sun.

The SEIU in Nevada also endorsed Obama last night, but the implication isn't clear.

The chaotic selection process and deep division within the union's ranks will likely diminish the endorsement's weight. The decision came after a teleconference among 34 of the union's 44-member executive board Tuesday.

Update: Nevada Congresswoman Shirley Berkley endorsed Hillary today.

This is funny. Read through the e-mail exchanges between Paul Begala and Fox News' Major Garrett. Despite absolute denials, Fox and Garrett continued to falsely report that Begala was joining Hillary Clinton's campaign.

I believe John Edwards blew it in New Hampshire by not running hard for his theory of change, instead choosing to align himself with Barack Obama's unity campaign against Hillary Clinton.

But let's be clear, in the battle for theory of change, John Edwards' theory is about to emerge triumphant. Obama and Clinton will be Fighting Dems for the duration.

That is why this type of inside baseball analysis of the fates of Mark Penn and Company really misses the boat. Whether Penn gets canned or not is not the point - his triangulation tactics, and I believe the unity tactics of David Axelrod, will now be in the political dustbin. That is what matters here, not whether these overhyped consultants continue to draw paychecks from the Clinton and Obama campaign.

As long as we're laying our cards on the table, this is one of the things that keeps me on Hillary's side regardless of anything to do with issues or tactics or rhetoric or anything else. I just hate the idea that the fever swamp has been able to turn a perfectly decent liberal woman into such an object of malign loathing. If she loses, then she loses. But by God, I don't want her to lose because millions of Schiffren's fellow travelers have carried on a 15-year vendetta of sick-minded smears and hatred. Enough's enough.

Be against Hillary. Criticize her stances, actions and political style. But by gawd, the libelous things that get said about her, not just by Republicans, but by Democrats and especially, by the Media (See Tweety) just set my teeth on edge.

It is terrible that she will be defeated because of this. I did not want her to win for many reasons. Most of them due to her cautious approach to politics. But that is not why she is going to lose. It will be due to just plain untruths. And that is not right.

It turns out a lot of voters in New Hampshire had the same impulse and that same impulse is sweeping the blogs. The latest comes from The Great Orange Satan himself as well as from Atrios. They say Hillary is divisive. Well, I tell you who has united Democrats - the Misogynist Media. We all hate the Media.

Political theatrics aside, there were lessons from her victory on Tuesday that could prove instructive as Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Obama head into this new phase of the campaign, with 25 states voting in the next four weeks. (John Edwards, who finished a distant third in New Hampshire after a second-place finish in Iowa, pledged to push on though he trailed far behind them.) Mrs. Clinton solidified her position with Democrats, while Mr. Obama enjoyed, as he did in Iowa, support from independent voters. But many of the states where the Democrats are now heading allow only Democrats to vote in their party’s primary.

By stopping the Obama Unity train in New Hampshire, the results tonight will force all of our candidates to appeal to Dems and Dem values. Obama will have to do what he should have already, become a Fighting Dem. Hillary started already. Obama is sure to follow.

This is good for the Democratic Party and for Democratic values.

Update: Norah O'Donnell on MSNBC (12:45 am ET): Hillary won because of women and people over 40 and because Obama didn't get the amount of youth vote he expected. Obama fell in the "empathy" category and Hillary doubled her numbers there. Women preferred Hillary to Obama by double-digit numbers.

Update: Washington Post:

Clinton also picked up 28 percent of voters younger than 30, after getting only 11 percent of young caucusgoers in Iowa. In another big switch, Clinton got 29 percent of voters prioritizing "change," up 10 percentage points from Iowa.

He congratulates Hillary Clinton for winning New Hampshire. More about change. This sounds like the same speech he would have given had he won New Hampshire.

He can thank the media for its trashing of Hillary Clinton. There must have been a huge backlash -- or else the pollsters don't know what they are doing.

Another pundit said he made a mistake by laying in the weeds the past two days and not putting up a fight.

Update: Several media pundits have remarked his speech was a victory speech. On his new slogan, "Yes, We Can," Pat Robertson and Rachel Maddow got into a dispute whether it was meant to reach out to, as Robertson said, "illegal immigrants" (see Si, se puede) or, as Rachel said, organized labor.

She did it. Amazing!

The importance of tonight's win can not be overstated. It was a revolt of women sick and tired of the likes of Chris Tweety Matthews and the Media Misogynists.

Barack Obama did not lose New Hampshire. The Media did. Their misogynist hatred of Hillary Clinton was soundly rejected by the voters. Especially the women voters of New Hampshire.

How the Media will react to this well deserved rebuke is the question. And let's be clear, Chris Matthews should be removed from covering this race. His offensive behavior is a disgrace to NBC.

Update (TL 10:24pm): 63% in, still Hillary 39% to Obama's 36%. The votes are coming in slower now. What takes college towns so long to count their votes?

Wolf Blitzer says her 4,000 vote, 3% lead is a "slight" lead. He calls the race "a nailbiter."

Update (TL 10:11 pm): 62% in and Hillary's still ahead, 39% to 36%. Wapole and Mason, the Beyond Currier and Ives town expected to go for Obama are already in and counted.

Update (TL 10:05 pm): The pundits are all surprised. 60% in, Hillary 39% to Obama 37%. But the college towns of Hanover and Durham aren't in yet. Two more Volvo towns, going for Obama as expected, are in: Peterborough and Portsmouth.

Edwards: 99% of us haven't voted and we all deserve to have our votes counted.
