Trump has called off his plan to impose tariffs on goods imported from Mexico. Does he expect applause for creating a crisis and then avoiding it?

course the plot falls apart within hours
Mexico had already promised to take many of the actions agreed to in Friday's immigration deal with the US -- months before President Donald Trump's tariff threat, officials from both countries who are familiar with the negotiations told the New York Times in a story published Saturday.

That's his SOP.  Create a problem ... "fix" the problem.. claim victory whether he's made the situation better or worse... tand back and wait for his sycophants to applaud.

Separating immigrant children from their families.
    Defunding/then funding the Special Olympics.
    Shutting down the federal government.
Ramp up nuclear tensions with North Korea, then have a summit and claim victory despite gaining nothing.
Threatening a trade war with the EU, then backing down from his car tariff threats.
Wreak havoc with agriculture in his trade war with China and them give farmers taxpayer $$$, pretending to be their savior.

A sad, sad joke of a POTUS.

Which of Mueller's staffers are you claiming were "Boston FBI crooks"?

    Name them.  This'll be fun.

And have now made a second and entirely different accusation against Mueller, again without a link or other support. Can you back up either of them? Not that there was shocking misconduct in the Boston FBI office in its dealings with organized crime, but your suggestion that this somehow taints Mueller and his investigation.

... had already agreed to this deal months ago.  This tariff distraction wasn't working out, so he's pretending to be the dealmaker again in order to save face.  Wonder what happens if the numbers don't drop in a couple of months.

...Trumpco are doing all of this tariff sh*t simply so they can manipulate certain stocks to their financial advantage. Never had an administration so full of grifters, con artists, and plain corrupt scum perfectly happy to use their position of government power to fill their personal pockets with cash. With almost no check on it whatsoever.

Robert Mueller presented his brief, yet devastating, farewell statement that spiked calls for an impeachment inquiry.

On Thursday, May 30, 2019, Trump announced his plan to place tariffs on all goods from Mexico starting at 5% as of June 10,  progressing in monthly increments of 5% up to the. draconian  and permanent 25% by October.

The media moved on to the newest shiny object, the Democrats were troubled by it all and lost the impeachment moment and momentum, and the arsonist  takes credit for putting out the fire.he started.
