Rudy Giuliani's Glass House

The Washington Post has a good editorial today on Rudy Giuliani's baseless attack on Hillary's health. Shorter version: People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

It points to different parts of his speech at the RNC that could support a conclusion he is suffering from "nerve damage, stroke or Alzheimer’s disease" and heart disease, and that he's suffered a stroke.

The Post says his baseless attack on Hillary's health is a sign of his "impaired character", if not health. After criticizing his "scurrilous and debunked theories about the Democratic candidate", it says he should see a doctor.

I can just hear Trump: "are you hearing impaired, Rudy? I said get into that dress. Now!"

Here is a recent scorecard of prominent Republicans and how they have indicated they will be voting in November.  The latest to get on the Clinton bandwagon seems to be Paul Wolfowitz.

linea: "from my perspective dr drew discussed this and i personally consider his analysis definitive."

As was Sen./Dr. Bill Frist's video diagnosis of Terri Schiavo's mental capacities from the floor of the U.S. Senate back in 2005.

And Sen./Dr. Frist might've been right, too, had he not been so very, very wrong. Because Ms. Schiavo's brain had shrunk to the size of a tennis ball, thus rendering her in an irreversible vegetative state as noted in her autopsy report.

In the non-GOP parallel universe known as reality, there is a term commonly used by the laity to describe such politically motivated long-distance video diagnostic procedures as performed by Drs. Frist and Drew upon people who are not their patients.

    It's called "quackery."

i have no idea what you are talking about!! who is dr bill?

why are you going out of your way to cherry-pick my post? i explicitally stated that nobody (as in voters) cares about clinton's emails or her personal health issues. everybody knows she's really old. nobody cares. hillary has the election locked. it isnt posdible for trump to flip the needed states and garner the needed electoral votes. i post this over and over again and you're still being mean to me. did you even watch his video? he's concerned about her level of care and the medication being prescribed. you think dr drew is a alt-right troll? are you serious?

You keep dropping the stupid right in front of me, and it's becoming rather hard to avoid. In what sane and rational world is Dr. Drew's medical opinion about Hillary Clinton considered definitive?

As far as "Dr. Bill" was concerned, Bill Frist is a physician who in 2005 also happened to be Senate Majority Leader. Read the links provided and educate yourself about what he did regarding the Terri Schiavo tragedy.

When Sen. Frist said on the Senate floor that he was "speaking more as a physician that as a senator" in claiming that there was insufficient evidence to conclude that Ms. Schiavo was in a persistent vegetative state, he embarrassed himself that day both as a politician and as a medical doctor.

Suffice to say that no physician is in any position to offer a "definitive" professional medical opinion about someone who's NOT his or her patient, particularly on the sole basis of a video observation. Frankly, that's just malpractice. And when it's done in the service of a particular political agenda, that's simply unconscionable.

    Aloha.

i spelt "definitive" correctly. it's with an 'e' - i dont understand what your scare-quotes are meant to imply but i looked-up the word before using it (when i made the initial post) and i also double-checked it again now. i am a very good writer.
