ISIS Uses Child Soldier to Kill Mossad Agent

ISIS has been promoting a new video by al Furqan Media all morning about the execution of a captured Mossad agent. An interview with the agent, Muhammad Sa’īd Ismā’īl Musallam, was featured in the latest issue of Dabiq magazine (Issue #7, described here). He said he was the only Arab in his unit, the others were Jewish.

Clearly designed to shock, in the now released video, which I won't link to, a child soldier kills the orange clad prisoner while standing right in front of him. He stares coldly at him and shoots him in the forehead. Then he fires more bullets into him and shouts "Allahu Akbar" as he raises his arm in triumph. [More....]

This is the second child soldier featured in a video killing a prisoner. The first was a Kazakh child.

The adult militant in this video seems to be speaking French. The child doesn't speak, and it's not clear whether the child is his son. (Added: The adult is reportedly Sabri Essid, the half-brother of Toulouse killer Mohammed Mereh. Sabri Essid's father was briefly married to Mohammed's mother. He was not involved in Mohammed's Toulouse killings. He later went to Syria with Mohammed's sister. Here's a video interview with him from 2011.)

At the end of the video, the screen flashes the names and locations of other Mossad agents, along with their identity cards.

Curiousity leads me to ask. Jeralyn, (none / 0) (#1)

Given you describe the actions of this execution in detail, what is the rationale for not linking to the viedeo?

    The videos are recruitment tools (5.00 / 1) (#2)

and I don't want to be responsible for more people watching them. They are also violent, and I don't post violent videos or graphics or allow others to on this site. I report on the videos I think are newsworthy. Using child killers is unacceptable, and people should know about it.

Video is for recruitment purposes. TL does not condone children murdering hostages, etc.

    I have written that (5.00 / 1) (#6)

many times, as you well know. I don't feel the need to repeat it in every post, especially when I'm not providing commentary but reporting news. Do you see any AP news articles that end with "The AP does not endorse children murdering hostages"? I didn't in this one covering the video. Reuters wrote a longer description of the video than I did, and didn't say that. Either did the WSJ or any other news outlet reporting it.

Of course, your questions aren't really questions, and you really are not curious. You are just registering your disapproval of writing about ISIS and framing it as a question.

I write about what interests me, obviously ISIS and U.S. military response to ISIS do.

By the way, a new big video is scheduled to be released tomorrow. I'll be covering that as well.

any object or person within reach of his pointed stick for going on 10 years now.  He has his agenda and sticks to it.
While most of us pay him no mind TL, because this is her site, does have to put him in his place from time to time lest he take over the place.  He's not paying the rent here.  [NB:  TL - I'll be sending some $ soon in resoponse to Appreciation Days.  You other readers should, too.]  Suffice it to say that if he had to pay for and run his own site he'd find out in short order that (a) it ain't cheap and (b) he and his POV just aren't that popular, at least among reasonable and reasoning people.

To oculus and her half-*sssed questions.  There are plenty of places where you can watch it, MT.  Why should this site be one of them?

As half a$$ed.  For whatever reason, I have always been able to read oculus short comments and understand intellectually where they are coming from.  It is very difficult to tell sometimes if Jeralyn admires and cheers ISIS on or if she is simply keeping up with ISIS.

Making ISIS out to be greater than God, all powerful, all inclusive is a great recruiting tool for them.  Missing from posts are the incidents where they threw gay persons off buildings.  The Iraq Amb to the United Nations shared that bodies were discovered where it appeared ISIS had been harvesting organs attempting to profit....Sunni doctors had been killed for refusing to assist in the project....and Jeralyn called THAT story an unfounded rumor.

it has been answered is pretty half-*ssed, as she did here.

And it is clear to me that Jeralyn follows ISIS like a real-time soap opera, not that she has any sympathy for them or their cause.

i couldn't help be reminded of a video I posted in an open the other day that had happy american children shooting guns.  Some toddler age.  They were not shooting other people as far as we know but they were hand guns.  Hand guns aren't for shooting animals are they.
