Hostage John Cantlie Messages: Episode 2 Released

Al Furqan Media has released the second episode of British hostage John Cantlie's video series today. You can view it here (If You Tube removes it, you can get it here.)

The topic is President Obama's speech on 9/11 against ISIS. These propaganda videos are becoming redundant. What's new in this one? A flat-out denial of Obama's claim that ISIS kills innocent women and children. He says it's an undeniable fact that ISIS did not kill the Yazidi women and children of Mosul and Sinjar (whom he refers to as Christian). He says ISIS does not regard the Shia as Muslims and thinks they are worse than Americans. He says Isis regards the Shia as apostates claiming to be Muslim while worshiping the dead.

After disparaging the ground forces Obama says will be assembled from reconstituted Iraqi soldiers and syrian rebels, he ends with, "For their part, the Islamic State states they welcome meeting Obama's under-construction army."

    A little forgiveness for Cantlie's script... (5.00 / 1) (#2)

    This ain't your momma's reality TV.

    Unlike the staged unreality littering America's vast wasteland, if Cantlie's new show gets cancelled, he loses more than a few night's sleep.

    that there has been an assumption that Cantile's videos are being scripted and/or approved by his captors, that ISIS would deny or have Cantlie deny that they kill innocent women and children is a good thing. Even if it only means that ISIS recognizes that this is something that revolts everyone everywhere and is not good for their image.

    Foreswearing the killing of innocent women and children is something we could agree upon. Some common ground;

    Now if they could add a denial about killing innocent men...
    I guess that will be somewhat harder since they have taken to filming themselves beheading them.

    ...are not capable of self-criticism. We are dealing with human beings of severely limited intellectual abilities. That's what religious fundamentalism does, it kills the rational mind. So every video from these Jeffrey Dahmer wannabes is just a pile of steaming sh*t designed to help them continually deny their own lack of humanity.

    These hair balls thing that they are the only innocents. So their bogus claim is not a lie in their view.

    What do you do about it though?

    In the 80s the U.S. seemed to make some serious social-headway when women and children could find safe haven from abuse.  It seemed to lead to some dramatic social changes when victims could get away from the abusers.

    Josh and I having dinner discussed this, how to provide haven and sanctuary to the women and children of the region?  Josh says the fighters will just focus on attacking those places then.  Wouldn't it still be worth it though?

    When the Syrian civil war started, some of the first images were the dumped tortured dead bodies in the streets of the young children, punishments and warnings to families.

    The images deeply upset him and I told him there was nothing we could do and just avoided the news then to avoid upsetting him.  One of my more stupid answers I think.

    I'm reposting it.  It's a fascinating explanation and history of and divisions within Islam.

    He says ISIS does not regard the Shia as Muslims and thinks they are worse than Americans. He says Isis regards the Shia as apostates claiming to be Muslim while worshiping the dead.
