The National Mall in Washington is ready for today's March for America. Maybe now that the Dems have their 216 votes and the vote won't happen until this evening, it will get some attention.

Tens of thousands of people are expected from all over the country. You can follow along here or on Twitter here or on Facebook.

    The health care protests and counter protests are getting out control and drowning the March.

    But I heart Barney Frank calling his Republican colleagues who were encouraging protestors in the Capitol, "clowns"

    "Did you guys see the Republicans encouraging the disruption?" Frank left the House floor to tell about 15 reporters. "These clowns are out there encouraging violation of the law and making the job of the guys up there harder. It's really disgraceful."

    both the Left and Right have gone off the deep end. The polarity in this country is unbelievable.

    Since the protestors are still out there and everyone else is paying attention to basketball or health care.

    They'll be lucky if this protest gets covered on page A-22.

    Corporations are going to send the jobs to their home countries anyway. There's none here. Most of the dozens of teams hauling riding mowers on flatbed trailers around here vanished years ago. There not stupid they went home where the prospects for employment are better .

    at what point does someone become a "criminal"? is it when they commit an illegal act, or only after they're found guilty, by a jury of their peers, of having committed an illegal act?

    they have been convicted of a crime. With few exceptions, conviction doesn't occur until a person has been sentenced -- following a plea of guilty or the return of a guilty verdict by a jury.

    that was pretty much my definition. with that as a starting point, those who have been found guilty of entering the country illegally would be, by our defintion, criminals.

    of the estimated 10.8 million undocumented immigrants currently in the country, any idea (a rough estimate is fine) how many have previously been found guilty of entering the country illegally in the past?

    i ask because, given the nature of illegal immigration, and reports from the ICE, it's obvious that many who have previously been caught and deported try again. some are successful and remain here. these would be............criminals.

    this is in no way meant to suggest that all are, or that immigration reform isn't necessary, clearly they aren't and it is. it is meant to point out that a blanket assertion that none of those est. 10.8 million people are criminals is without factual basis. clearly, some of them are.

    it seems somewhat unfair, to those who followed the rules, to propose easing the way for those who have been adjudicated criminals.

    your thoughts?
