I always wondered what they would charge for "unlimited" under caps. Thank Dawg he's doing something. I do rely on unlimited access for my work. Last thing I need are time and DL restraints. Just the other day I DL several gigs of art (dbl digit) and the next day yet again. Other months, not so much.

Thanks for the heads up. Isn't the TAP nice for state info? I need to check in more often . . . .

    I'm going back to checking daily (5.00 / 1) (#4)

at least, if not twice daily. Your post gave me the "wake back up". Thank you for that!

This monopoly sh!t pisses me off to no end. There is no competition and we could just get shoved up the rear on the internet via cable. I remember having a hissy fit over service a couple years back and looked to switch, no options except Dish, which I'm unsure about for my purposes. And there's no saying Dish won't go the same way. Honestly my service serves my purposes quite well, I just wish I had a competitive option if they start becoming less than desirable. I need to be able to DL 10+ gigs a day on any given day without getting hit with triple fees, as much as it bores the heck outta me! My rep will be hearing from me to get behind Massa, although I think she may already be there ;)

Thanks again for the heads up!

of "special students," non-degree students, if these restrictions go through.  It would be cheaper to just pay for a one-credit course, which comes with unlimited access to campus servers.  (Or in states with senior-citizen auditing, it's free -- the course and the unlimited access.:-)
