Thursday Night Open Thread

Audrey (Kim Raver) from "24" (last on Lipstick Jungle) joins Grey's Anatomy tonight in a recurring role. Good choice. Joel Grey is also a guest star tonight.

After temperatures in the 70's all week, we're dropping by 30 degrees tomorrow as another storm front moves in.

This is an open thread, all topics welcome.

more than most of the other women on Grey's. (Dr. Bailey remains awesome) Hope she is a permanent addition. I felt the same way about Addison, but then they had to go spin her off into 'Private Practice' where I have to put up with Violet to see her.

It was so nice to have a normal Thursday TV night after being gone for two weeks! I'm starting to like Russell on Survivor. Have to admire someone that smart, even though he is a little icky.

Three freshman players that were part of Lane Kiffin's first recruiting class have been charged with attempted armed robbery in Knoxville including Nu'Keese Richardson.

I love Tressel even more now. (none / 0) (#4)

Y'all know I'm not into sports.  It was really hard to be into sports when every year brought more stories of Buckeye football and basketball players running afoul of the law.  Not talking some piddly DUI either - domestic abuse, theft, unregistered firearms, assaults.  I remember the lamest crime - stealing gas by driving off without paying.  Obviously the coaches weren't looking for reliable players who made every practice and game and weren't busy doing things like keeping court appointments or being suspended (if they were, more often they were not).

Now why would I want to root for budding young criminals like that?  Then Tressel came to town and it was all about the team and he didn't want players who couldn't handle the responsibility.   Let the other teams take the irresponsible, the scofflaws, the troublemakers.  Amen.

still dealing with the remnants of hurricane ida here. just a storm at this point, but drenching rain for the past two days, and continuing tomorrow. the positive: the rivers and reservoirs will be amply filled. the bad: lots of flooding and many accidents on all the roads.

i love hurricane season! really, i do! lol
