Watch Your Language, Sen. McCain

Michael Tomasky thinks John McCain twice uttered an expletive during last night's debate. Steven Leser agrees. They might be right. Both link to the portion of the debate that has McCain muttering something that sounds like it starts with "horse." Listen and decide for yourself.

On a positive note, at least McCain didn't drop an F-bomb like his friend Dick Cheney. But then, Cheney wasn't participating in a nationally televised debate.

    I heard him say "of course not". No horse manure. He might have been thinking it, though. Does that count?

    Slapshot, a movie we saw at the drive-in (remember those) with two small kids in the back of the car.  We left due to what was, at the time, incessant profanity.  Newman sd. he started swearing alot after that movie and realized it when he asked his daughter to pass the f#cking salt.

    and said McCain said "'Course not."  And Olbermann had superb sound amplification.

    I think it is a problem if a major politician speaking in front of millions can't control his tongue and avoid using vulgarities.

    it is funny.  Montague is probably right that we can hear it because we're prepped to hear it.

    In any event, the real horsesh!t is where McCain wants to lead (or rather just continue to take) our country.

    McCain is a dim-witted bully and I hope Obama learns in the next debate to really take no prisoners.  Stuff that smirk right down McCain's grizzled gullet with plain and simple LOGIC.

    without a doubt. As a not-quite completely clueless almost-PUMA even I can grant that. "Course-not" has no context; horse-sh*t does.
