At least there, when someone gets out of line, the other side gets to punch him out, and all they usually get is 5 minutes sitting in the penalty box.

he had the b*lls to bring up HRC and Vince Foster, Whitewater, etc.  Saying how BO is so great for not mentioning all of the scandals--you know, the ones the Clintons were found not guilty of after 70M investigation.  And like Monica was HRC's fault to begin with...

For CNN it will HAVE to be Amy Holmes (poor Begala is the only HRC supporter on the panel) but Holmes just pulls more BS from her posterior than anyone on CNN

For MSNBC it can be a toss up between KO or Matthews...KO will usually say something totally irrelevant just to get a dig at Clinton, while Matthews won't stop using every opportunity to dig at Clinton...coin flip there.

Amy Holmes is perky (none / 0) (#10)

..first he was bringing up the notion that if Hillary wins Texas and Ohio, it might be unfair to force her out via super delegates since she would have own most of the larger states. Then he went on to bring up what I have been griping about all along.. that women's desire to see the first woman president is as real and valid as African American's desire to see the first Black president. Then he went on to say that he thinks that women are starting to get PO'd about all the piling on on Hillary, even Republican women in his family. At which point of course Buchanan piped in to say that women like McCain. That part I didn't agree with.

Maddow is in the tank for Obama -- and I was truly disgusted with her performance when she kept repeating that Clinton was scapegoating Hispanics to pander to black voters ....

now, give Taylor Marsh her own show on MSNBC, and we'd be talking!  (don't go by Taylor's blog posts -- she's actually very good on the radio and when she gets to do TV.)

was a signal to me that she has sold her soul to GE for a paycheck and some face time. She shucked her baggy shirts and slacks for a sleek, feminine 'do, tailored suit (skirt, not pants), kitten heels and baby-pink lipstick. It was as if she had to conform to a more traditional image of femininity in order to advance at MSGOP. Her willingness to do so was surprising to me, and disheartening.

it became clear that he really wanted his ego stroked for his so-called progressive ideals. He went back there again because the posters there were so full of adulation and hero-worship that they fell all over themselves to tip him and bask in his threads. Olbermann's getting the same enormous ego and pomposity that he derides in O'Reilly, and it's even less becoming in him.

just read some 'highlights' from Correntewire.  Political bias is one thing, it colors you theory and you can get used to that.  And argue with it.  But being completely batsh*t crazy and lying (see:  Josh Marshall today) is not okay.  It's crappy writing that transcends bias.  Clinton has stupid defenders too.  But Obama:  whatta muse.

Check out the excerpts on Correntewire.com.  They are just out of this world.

    Seitzman:
"I don't want to sound too Kumbaya about this, but we shouldn't be voting for someone because they will "beat" half our country into submission. We need a leader who will enlist the other half, who will invite them, who will welcome them and who will lead a nation into an uncertain future."

Deranged Helmet Headed Mentalist Gloria Borger (none / 0) (#46)
by Ellie on Tue Mar 04, 2008 at 10:12:58 PM EST
What she lacks in the nakedly lascivious, malevolent glee to slam the Clintons (Tim Russert), desperate need to be accepted by the masculine Manly Men in the locker room (bogarting copiece huffer and equipment manager Tweety Matthews) or bullying trumpeting elephant (Bill Bennet) she makes up for in barely contained dizzy enthusiasm for a Clinton win, so that she -- Borger -- can return to the good old gossipy days that clearly defined her.

She's like the basket case who was on the same college campus at the same time as someone who later became accomplished or famous, about whom Borger spends years spinning Bizarre Universe fan-fic. She has no actual connection to what's clearly her favorite subject but reach makes up for distance here.

Also, because media lends more credence and importance to the BS that the men of Punditstan are throwing out, most of them are mailing in their Hillary hatred. Borger has to dig deep when she speaks ex rectum and damn if she doesn't bring it every time. (I dead-threaded this Borger appearance, and

    offer up this exchange
    as evidence of the above.)

Fellow member of the Psychic Friends' Network,  mind-reader Carl Bernstein, disappointed me tonight. He was merely dopey instead of bizarre.

    Random thoughts:

I love the exchanges between Wolf Blitzer and Jon King. King's having way too much fun with the big fingeboard and Blitzer can barely contain his envy ata not being able to play with the toy.

What an awful set. It's like those stupid mid-nineties fad of cavernous grazing restaurants where you had to line up most of the night to get: a taco, some sushi, a samosa ...

What's with the little slug riding the roller coaster of the CNN logo? (Best giess: someone on the couch panel said it's the diseased soul of Robert Novak.)
