Indictments Dismissed Against Cheney and Gonzales

You knew it had to be too good to be true. It was.

The Texas indictments against Dick Cheney and Alberto Gonzales have been dismissed.

    ... has no authority to pardon (or grant any other form of clemency for) a State offense.  That power lies in the hands of each state's Governor.

    from Bush on Cheney and Gonzales and others right before he leaves office.  Does not want anybody left out there that can do him harm if they make a deal to sing.

    even if his crimes ever fully came to light Obama would pardon him...no doubt in my mind.  

    And if I'm wrong there is always the compound in Paraguay.
