Mr. 9 Percent

Via mcjoan, Harry Reid cracks wise on Cheney:

Mr. Reid said he was not going to engage in a tit-for-tat with the vice president. "I’m not going to get into a name-calling match with somebody who has a 9 percent approval rating," Mr. Reid said.

Heh.

Yup! old spineless sure hates ridicule, remember when this worthless piece of human Fecal matter flipped off the Senior Senator from Vermont. The darlings on the right and the fascist christians thought it was adorable, now that this Fool is getting lambasted the wingnuts want sympathy and understanding.

I sure hope they vote the articles of Impeachment, then get that worthless Secretary of State and the Whole Bush Crime Family comes down.

Or maybe the Gutless VP will authorize the activation of "Blackwater", I mean the are trying to break the military and justify the privatization of the military.

Funny how this 5 deferrment CLOWN and his AWOL Cocain using Mental Midget Clown in the WH. attack those for differing opinions yet these C O W A R D S ran when they were called.

So as far as Reid is concerned, the polls are all that matters.  He simply won't listen to any contrary point of view (witness is statement about General Petraeus yesterday).

Seems to me that everything you say about Bush is also true of Reid.  He doesn't listen to any information that might force a change to his pre-determined views.

He simply won't listen to any contrary point of view (witness is statement about General Petraeus yesterday).
He agreed with Petraeus' statement: "There is no military solution to a problem like that in Iraq,"

but he SAID he won't engage in name calling with someone low in the polls.

Of course, he shouldn't be engaging in name calling at all.

    (from The Politico):

"Several leading Democrats said this week that they did not agree with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's recent statement that "the war is lost" in Iraq, even while they support his broader message.

But they did agree that Reid's wording was clumsy and potentially damaging. Even the Nevada Democrat himself appeared to be backing away from his remark.

Jim Manley, Reid's spokesman, said earlier that the "war is lost" comment was not in Reid's prepared text for the news conference last Thursday. But from now on, Manley said, the senator will "couch it more": The mission in Iraq is not working and must be changed.

Democrats have long tried to shed their image of being soft on national defense. Recent polls suggest they are making strides, showing that more voters trust congressional Democrats than they do the president to handle the situation in Iraq."

    make strides, back away.
