Bush-Abramoff Photo Released

Via CREWE and Huffpo:

CREW was provided a photo of President Bush and Jack Abramoff taken at a campaign fundraiser in December 2003. The White House did not want anyone to see this photo.

ABC has more on how last spring Bush moved to restrict public access to White House visitor logs.

The White House and the Secret Service quietly signed an agreement last spring in the midst of the Jack Abramoff lobbying scandal declaring that records identifying visitors to the White House are not open to the public.

The Bush administration didn't reveal the existence of the memorandum of understanding until last fall.

The purpose of the memo related not to Abramoff, but to the White House's attempt to keep private the Secret Service logs of Cheney's visitors.

All that good eating and favor granting.

So the Secret Service is under the auspices of Homeland Security; they sign an agreement with the White House to not release the logs of the visitors trasping thru. Yep, time to break out the photo logs.
