More on Judith Miller

I'm already wearying of all the Judith Miller news and commentary, but here are two pieces I found interesting and recommend.

  • Lynn Duke of The Washington Post spent three hours interviewing Judith Miller last week. Her article is long, and filled with quotes from Miller.
  • Gabriel Sherman at the New York Observer writes about the negotiations between Miller and the Times.

not to be harsh (ok, let's be harsh), who cares? this is a person who violated the basic requirements of her profession: tell the truth, and inform the public. it's not just her, the era of "celebrity" reporters has destroyed journalism in this country, from ted koppel on down. they party with the same people they report on, they live next door to them, etc. hard to be objective when they're your buds. this is why the MSM is no longer trusted to bring us the truth. judy miller's departure from the nyt is hardly a loss to journalism, or the nyt.

Well said. And that's were the bias comes from, on both sides.
