Marc Emery is great. I hope this is the straw that breaks the camels back, so to speak. If there were any justice in the world, John Walters and his croonies at the DEA would spend the rest of their lives in jail, and people like Renee Boje and Marc Emery would have nothing to fear from them while living free in Canada. The real question isn't whether drugs have bad or good effects. It's, instead, whether we can trust people at the DEA with our civil liberties, with no knock search warrents, etc. We can't. Drugs have made them crazy. A side by side comparison of Marc Emery and Anslinger would really illuminate the difference between these two sides.

The NYT big support of the war on drugs is made clear by this report. Hardly is an eyebrow raised by the fact that America went over to Canada and arrested one of their citizens who broke no Canadian laws. Amazing...but biz as usual.

100% pure insane madness, that's the only was to describe what is happening to Emery. I wish him all the luck in the world.
