Wesley Clark: Abu Ghraib Undermined War Effort

Former presidential candidate Wesley Clark is now a Fox News military analyst. He was on O'Reilly tonight.

O'Reilly: You don't think 50 news stories in the New York Times about Abu Graib undermined the war effort?

Clark: I think Abu Ghraib undermined the war effort.

It's beginning to look like this administration is toast (quack). Of course, a wounded and cornered animal is often the most dangerous type.

Good point, Fred. I never understand all this "war" talk. Didn't we win 2 years ago? Seriously, though, the Iraqis knew about Abu Ghraib long before we did. Given that, anyone who thinks our media did something wrong should have been born 60 years ago so they could airbrush photos for Stalin.

I think that even the hint of censorship promoted by Mr. Bill undermines the Revolutionary War effort.

Blame the NYT not those committing the actions. It is refreshing to see that Bush is living up to his promise to bring accountability to the WH.

Sort of an, um, inarguable point at this juncture, one would hope.

See, it's not the actual 'thing' that is causing the problems; it's simply the REPORTING of that 'thing.'

You said it gang. This whole "blame the messenger" tactic is getting really really tired.
