Love in Action, which runs the Refuge program the gay teen's parents are forcing him to attend, is now under investigation by the state of Tennessee on allegations of child abuse. Here are some updates with links to news stories on the investigation.

    How can these parents be abusing their child when God let his own begotten son die on the cross so we won't all be gay? Or was it to not be Democrats? Or liberals? Aww, heck! I always forget why Jeebus died on the cross, but I am sure it had something to do with kids not lovin' other kids of the same sex (my good buddy Karl "Kickin' A#s and Takin' Names" Rove taught me that)!

    I thought the whole "gay conversion into hetro" thing had been roundly exposed for the complete scam that it is and now I hear this. Simply incredible that these conservative wackos can't get it through their thick skulls that gay is not a learned behavior or lifestyle choice. And how come we never hear about gay neo-cons like Spokane mayor James West signing up for this therapy?

    A forced conversion camp called "Love in Action"? Sounds like an oxymoron to me.

    I hate to say this but a 16 year old boy who wants other guys needs his brains washed, but what the hell, hope he never gets HIV.

    This homo-no-mo',(1) program charges $950 a month, plus parents are required to stay in a hotel approved by Love in Action (ten bucks says LIA gets kickbacks). And there are probably other incidentals. So these slimeballs aren't just abusing the kids--they're shaking down the parents. Quite a scam. (1) See link for attribution of catchy phrase.

    The Associated Press has picked up the story, but the only outlet that has reprinted it so far is 365Gay.com, a gay news site. Fred, this kid doesn't need his brain washed--but after eight weeks in the camp he is surely going to need his head shrunk.
