Get Well Wishes

Laura Ingraham had surgery for breast cancer yesterday. While our politics could not be more different, I always enjoyed debating her during the Clinton years. I'm very sorry to learn the news and wish her a speedy and complete recovery.

    I actually went onto her website and emailed her "get well wishes" I explained that I was a Democrat and I didn't agree with her views, but I still wished her well in her fight against breast cancer. I added that I hoped she took some time to think of all the women who are not able to get medical exams due to lack of money and/or access.

    Urizon, I think you have your Lauras mixed up. Laura Ingraham is the conservative, blonde-haired, mini-skirted pundette who was Anne Coulter before Ann herself. Dr. Laura is Laura Schlessinger, the conservative, acid-tongued "therapist" who let her own mother die estranged and lonely.

    My mother died of complications from breast cancer twelve years ago. She was only 54, not too much older than I am, myself, right now, so please believe me when I say that I would not wish this fate upon anyone, even my worst enemy. [remainder deleted, wrong Laura]

    And you have commented many times that those who disagree with you should not be allowed to comment. That, dear mfox, is the essence of the radcal Left.
    Another missperception/misstatement (which is it?) PPJ. I don't think you specifically should be allowed to comment here more than a couple a day. If Jeralyn made money each time you pissed a commenter off or hijacked a thread she wouldn't need a tip jar anymore. Please start your own Blog, if you are always so, so right. And once again, you criticized a commenter for sending a woman with breast cancer a get well email!!!! So freakin' what if she qualified it by saying that while she wasn't a "fan" so to speak that she hoped for a speedy recovery.

    I would guess that Laura Ingraham appreciates learning that her well-wishers include many who disagree with her politically.
