Who will win Celebrity Apprentice, Marlee Matlin or John Rich? I'm looking forward to finding out. What I could do without: More of Neme, the desperate housewife from some city or another.
The Tyler Hamilton interview about Lance Armstrong is on "60 Minutes." I thought they did this Thursday. Here's Facts For Lance.
The New York Times takes a well-deserved swipe at Nancy Grace and her brand of TV injustice and rush to guilt.
Ms. Grace, a former prosecutor in Atlanta who was reprimanded for stepping over a line more than once, obliterates lines every night on “Nancy Grace.” Working with a contingent of experts who have all the independence of a crew of trained seals, Ms. Grace races toward judgment, heedlessly ignoring nuance and evidence on her way to finding guilt.

There's an attack on a Pakistani naval base in Karachi. Several have been killed and there may be hostages. This is the Navy base.
Interior Minister Rehman Malik says "This is an attack on Pakistan. Al- Qaeda and Taliban are enemies of Pakistan and are trying to destroy our assets.”

Update: The apartment house blocks Dominique Strauss-Kahn from moving in. Now what?
Instead, Mr. Strauss-Kahn will be staying at a corporate housing building used by the security company, Stroz Friedberg, that has been hired to guard him while he remains under 24-hour home confinement, according to the official at State Supreme Court in Manhattan. How about renting a townhouse instead of an apartment?

American Idol seems so lackluster without James Durbin. I really don't get Hailey. To my ear, she shrieks, yodels and is off key. I did find something to like about her performance tonight -- her father (who played guitar while she did her first song.) The judges are overly nice to her. They even praised her tripping and falling. Scotty was terrific, but he's very one-dimensional. While I didn't think Lauren shone tonight, I do think she's the best singer left. But none of these three should be American Idol.
Steven Tyler (and to a lesser extent Jennifer Lopez) all that's propping up American Idol and the only reason to keep watching. Idol also seems like amateur hour compared to The Voice. Not only in terms of the talent, but production. Every one of the contestants, and every performances is outstanding.
On to the finale of America's Next Top Model, which also had a lackluster (at best) group of contestants this year.
