Donald Trump and the Temple of Doom

Donald Trump's speech at the U.N.

Authority and authoritarian powers seek to collapse the values, the systems, and alliances that prevented conflict and tilted the world toward freedom since World War II.

International criminal networks traffic drugs, weapons, people; force dislocation and mass migration; threaten our borders; and new forms of aggression exploit technology to menace our citizens.

The U.S. does have one problem, and its name is Donald Trump. Until his time is the oval office has come to an end, the U.S. will not be the beacon of liberty it has been for centuries.

"a moment (or two)" during the speech.

Has Trump looked at a map lately?  Has anyone educated him on the effect on neighboring countries of retaliation that will totally destroy North Korea?

Sigh.  I don't know why I'm even asking these questions, because I think we already know that none of this matters to him.

He's going to break the world.

    I can't tell if he's all gnarly and beat up (none / 0) (#7)

HAS TO completely destroy North Korea, it's because the UN failed. Has nothing to do with the micro penis measure-off he's having with the littlest Kim.

I can't believe my President gave a UN speech calling someone relevant "rocket man" either.

Never mind the fact that any nukes used against North Korea would kill a whole lot of South Koreans as well. Not to mention a bunch of  Chinese.  Not to mention Japanese.  Not to mention some Russians in the Vladivostok region.
And I'm betting that the Chinese, in particular, would not be very happy about this.  They have way more nukes than North Korea.
And also, too, guess which way the wind blows and the ocean currents go? Well, that would be eastward. Which would mean that any radiation would wind up on our shores.

Seriously...tweeting "Rocket Man" from the crapper at 4am for your hardcore fanboys to jerk off too first thing in the morning is one thing, a UN address is another level. Even his uncouth is uncouth.

    Poor Elton John.

nickname. It's been so long since he invented a new nickname for someone! In public anyway. Made him feel like a big man again.

He is the most pathetic excuse for a leader I can even imagine.
