The media is exploding about the Ugly American Donald Trump and his latest tweet about a tv host's plastic surgery.

“I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don’t watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year’s Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!”

Trump seems to have a "thing" about blood and women -- first Meghan Kelly and now Mika Brzezinski.

What a shame for America that a man with such a vulgar, low-class way of expressing himself is occupying a desk in the oval office.

P.S. Memo to Donald: You could use a facelift yourself. Have you noticed how much your face has aged since January?

    I so vehemently was opposed to this reprobate. He is a low class, vulgar boor. And he always has been. I had keen dislike for this guy long before he was had a TV show. His whole being is offensive to me.

    about working extra hard to set the stage for millions of people to lose their Medicaid coverage, possibly lose maternity coverage, essential health benefits, guarantees of coverage for pre-existing conditions...just because it's couched in polite terms doesn't make that any less obscene.

    not had a face-lift and wasn't bleeding, but Trump apparently did not say "no."

    He will and does lie about anything to serve his own needs.  

    The defense by Sarah Huckabee Sanders was just as bad.  What is the president supposed to do when he is criticized?  Sanders says when he gets hit, he hits back harder.  People are mean to him, every day.

    How about this: rise above it.  Understand that he is not bigger than the office.  Have some dignity, if not for himself, for the office, and for the millions of people who take what he says as permission to be just like him.

    And to Chuck Todd, whom i just saw on MTP Daily: no, Chuck, what Trump said isn't okay because  it's "authentic;" it's wrong no matter what.

    The man is unfit for office.

    There is no level of viciousness in championing policies that kill people born into the lower classes. As if there is no level of viciousness making childcare more affordable for the wealthy while the poor is allowed to eat cake. As if there is no level of psycho unbalanced numb viciousness in speaking to Saudi women about balancing their family and their careers.

    Great landlords, living in the neighborhood. Most of their kids off to college now so they downsized to a home in the neighborhood they've long admired. The nicest people.

    She teaches at a Quaker academy here. I think Josh might finish out as a senior there. Great community at the school. Withering tuition but we were under contract with our Bama house before we pulled out of the driveway. We worked so hard getting it ready, my husband and I pulled about 5 work outfits each out of our wardrobes and we threw the clothes away when we were done. But that house was ready.

    I'm pretty sure we fall into the dreaded tuition crack, not wealthy but we miss the grant mark too. With the sale of our house we can swing this though and if it gets Josh started on the right foot here it is worth it.

    New homestead older colonial, built in the 60s in Silver Spring. A bit of land for the dogs to run on, we have the riding mower from Alabama life. Angelajean from DailyKos teased me that I can start a mowing business here :) She's in Petworth right now. Most people don't really have yards though here. But deer eat at the edge of the new backyard and 2 koi ponds with some very large koi. Little deck to watch the fireflies from. No more snakes nesting under the AC.

    We got fiber optic internet installed at the new place today. Really amazing service, we've had nothing like it available to us. Right after that was done, Coleman (contractor that moves the whole Army) phoned to say that our household goods had arrived in DC but had been containerized like shipments overseas are because a semi was not immediately available when they packed us out. This is my first time trusting the Army to move me. I've always moved myself and taken a fairly small reimbursement from the Army. But I knew where our things were. Coleman said today they cannot find a driver to bring the container to the house until July 16. My husband said this is unacceptable and hung up. This cat and mouse, carrots and sticks game, that must be played within the bureaucracy would drive me mad!! They phoned later to say they would pay for our hotel stay in the meantime. Great guys! It's $250 a night. I'm old, I haven't been roughing it. Pay away. We'll see how much incentivization is possible.

    So many dog people here. A trail at the end of our cul-de-sac leads to two different parks. Lots of people on the trail with their pooches. And the Offer Up app here is straight from the devil. People put real antiques on there for a small sum if you can refinish. I already have an all wood, no metal hardware, drop leaf to redo. I saw a solid mohogany end table that is a twin to my great grandmother's which I now own on there. It is on my watch list. It's covered in green paint and mod podge flowers for a non-negotiable $50. I already have one furniture project and no pots and pans to even heat soup in. I stare at it and wonder if that paint is enamel or latex?

    Here is a reminder: All of these people are members of a political party presently working out how to strip reasonable access to healthcare from tens of millions of vulnerable people--the poor, the sick, the elderly--so that they can kick back some tax money to the richest sliver of America's upper class without imperiling the job prospects of those of them who won elections by branding themselves as "moderates." Imagine thinking literally anything else "represents what is wrong with American politics." Imagine fretting over what does or does not empower women while your own party conspires to strip prenatal care from mothers. Imagine wringing your hands over civility while plotting to bankrupt and ruin the families of sick children so that a few billionaires can bleed just a little more cash out of the society they're destroying.

    Nothing Donald Trump puts in a f@cking tweet could ever equal the least portion of the cruelty the Republican party presently is working to enshrine into law. What is wrong with American politics can be summarized by the fact that these motherf@ckers are not in jail.

    I just turned it on so they have not shown up on set yet.  (They have, they are expected at 7 eastern) but I recorded it and am enjoying the Trump trashing party to much to skip.

    It's said they were supposed to be on vacation starting today but delayed it to "respond".

    are you asking in general or did you hear the story this morning about how he actually specifically threatened them.

    a while back, they said - never heard this before, The National Enquirer contacted them and said they had a "really bad story" they were going to print but all they had to do was call Trump and "apologize".  grovel and ask forgiveness for their transgressions, basically.  they said something like 'are you f-ing kidding me?'.  he said this went on for a while with several different Trump aids and allies calling and saying different versions of, 'come on, all you have to do is call him and say you are sorry and the story wont run'.

    they pretty blew them off and said knock yourself out.

    it was quite a story.  im sure its on the web by now.

    i just saw Lynn Sweet of the Chi Sun Times make an interesting point.   in his follow up tweet this morning Trump said that Scarborough ASKED him to spike an Enquirer story and he refused to do it.

    so he basically admitted having the ability to control the content of the National Enquirer.

    in the New Yorker documents Trump's one relationship with Enquirer publisher Sam Pecker.

    Pecker won't publish anything negative about Trump, and I have no doubt Trump can get him to push or kill a story. They have been doing each other favors for years - Trump's supporters are big readers of the Enquirer, surprise surprise.
