Biden Thinks He'd Have Made the Best President

Joe Biden told Good Morning America he thinks he would have made the best President (over Hillary and Bernie.) He says he wasn't ready to commit his full heart to the endeavor.

Thank goodness for small favors. Had he run, it would have been the first time I didn't vote in the Presidential race my entire adult life.

Crime warriors like Biden should not be President. Only Rudy Giuliani would be worse than him in my view. (In the end, over the course of a career, Biden effected far more damage, so he may be worse than Giuliani.)

I think he's a lightweight. He's now way past his prime, and says a lot of stupid things. I have talked to people in DE who question his honesty. He'd be better than Trump, though. I actually didn't know the extent of his crime stances until Jeralyn brought them up previously.

    He's always said a lot of stupid things (none / 0) (#15)

He tends to want to be popular and often funny more than on the right side of history or considering the social moral compact . My first taste of his brand of leadership was getting Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Court.

be unlikely to get the obscene treatment that the geriatric rock star, Ted Nugent, has given to Mrs. Clinton.  Nugent posted on his facebook a doctored video from a Democratic debate between Bernie and Hillary, depicting Bernie gunning down Hillary. Sanders, is dubbed in with "I got your guncontrol(sic)right here, b*tch).   Clinton goes down in a spray of blood.   Nice, real nice. (note: no link provided)

... that he wasn't ready to commit his full heart to the campaign? I totally get not liking him as a candidate, but that's pretty cold considering the reasons why Biden wasn't ready.

    That's an uncalled for, (none / 0) (#7)

low blow, Magster, and totally beneath you.

Exactly how long, after a family tragedy, is long enough to respond to a politician's public, political statements? Obviously, Joe felt enough time had passed for him to interject himself into the current political campaign.

I think the sickening implication inherent in your comment  requires a sincere apology to Jeralyn, like, immediately.

    Thank goodness for small favors.

Doesn't read well. How would Biden interpret that?

thank god for small favors that he didn't run, or didn't win the nomination. Note that the small favors sentence starts a new paragraph, and isn't part of the prior paragraph or sentence.

the small favor is that he didn't run. His reason has nothing to with my post.

You can say all of this now, but Biden is the one Democrat who might be able to cut deals with Paul Ryan and the GOP Congress and actually get bills passed.

    That, I believe (none / 0) (#17)
