Trump Supporter's Racist Rant Goes Viral

This racist rant by a Trump supporter in Memphis at a young black man who cut him off in traffic is just astonishing. It's also going viral. It had 2 million views in 12 hours. FB took it down but other copies are out there.

Update: Trevor Noah of the Daily Show picks up on and spreads the video on Twitter.

The man has been identified and his address published on Twitter. The local news station posted a photo of his house, without the address or neighborhood. His license plate was viewable in the video, not too hard to do.

The Justice Department will be monitoring votes in 28 states. One of the places to be monitored: Shelby County (Memphis) TN (no link for CBS due to autoplay video.)

... but in addition to the racist rant,  there's this:

When an unseen woman in the Trump supporter's car starts to interject herself in the argument, the man turns back to the car and says, "Let me handle this, be a woman," before slamming the door.

There are far too many neanderthal like this idiot.

that you posted this Jeralyn.  Is your point the dangers of social media or how deplorable some Trump supporters are?

Trump supporters are. He attracts these types like a magnet. He may or may not share their views, I have no idea, but he emboldens them, does nothing to discourage them and people need to know that.  Trump is a name-caller, he calls people liars and crooks and the media has let him get away with it and published his every comment. People like this horrible guy in the video think they can do the same, and substitute their own personal targets of hate. This should be on every news site in America, as a wake up call for those contemplating not voting for Hillary.

should happen to him, because some nitwit put his address out on twitter, that person will bear some of the guilt. just because those people are idiots, doesn't mean everyone else has to be also.

And anyone who thinks this guy is some kind of outlier, you are sadly mistaken. There are millions of these guys (and some gals) roaming America. Being a old white guy (former biker type), I hear this cr*pola all the time. Because these people assume I think it's okay or assume I agree with their sentiments. On the other hand, best thing I saw on Reddit yesterday, picture of older white gentleman helping a young black man on a subway platform get his tie done correctly (the young man on his way to his first day of at a new job).

isn't that what southern conservatives are supposed to believe?

    Y'all tell me.

All I could think while watching that was how many confrontations like that tragically escalate, and how full some prisons are with guys like that -- with too much testosterone, and not enough brains, heart, and soul..

    actually no. (none / 0) (#9)

That's Catholics and some others. Conservatives believe that they are engaged in spiritual warfare.

And uh, I notice you not only don't condemn all the nuts; you actually think one is qualified to be President of the United States.

What sort of trouble are you referring to? Like your brother-in-arms in the video? Or some more generalized uprising?
