Breaking Bad Finale Open Thread

Tonight is the final night of an unprecedentedly great final season of Breaking Bad, the best final season ever imo.

I started watching Breaking Bad on Jeralyn's recommendation, and I liked it immediately. But the final season has been sublime.

I hope the finale sustains that level. In any event, Vince Gilligan, Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, Anna Gunn and all the rest have left a body of work to be proud of.

Open Thread.

Update (TL): Best finale ever.

I'll be watching of course. My predictions: I'm usually proven wrong in the first five minutes, but here goes: Jesse kills or tries to kill Walter -- or Walt Jr or Marie tries to kill him.

Walter either uses the ricin on himself or puts it in Lydia's tea and kills her. I hope Walt lives.

The M60 is for a shootout with Jack's men. Todd and Lydia will die.

Who will live: Jesse, Saul, Skyler, Walt Jr, and maybe Walt. Not sure about Holly and Marie.

Homeland starts tonight too. (And the Good Wife.)

But I rather think he's going to something to the Gray Matter folks.  I took pretty clearly from last episode that that's why he left the bar rather than being arrested.

I don't know what time it airs in each time zone and I'd hate to ruin it for anyone

I feel like I'm missing out on such fun. But those damn tweakers I lived next door to for years just ruined it for me. Phuckers. But we had the single most absurd and hilarious mediation session when the neighbors couldn't take the dealing and all night visits anymore, and for whatever reason the cops wouldn't do anything. Imagine a potluck dinner with a tweaker family bringing over ambrosia salad in a Corningware dish they MUST have cooked up some crank in fairly recently. That's only the beginning.

All of you who are way into it, enjoy. I'll be reading a friend's novel. Just as well.

    Peace.

I plan to pick it up in a few minutes so I can fast forward through the commercials.  I think I heard that a 30 second commercial was selling for $350K and they expected something like 8 million viewers tonight.
