Bon Jovi Denver Wrap-Up

Bon Jovi lived up to all expectations and then some. Our seats were great. Here's some photos the TL kid took:

I didn't miss Richie Sambora. Phil X, who is taking his place, is a great guitarist.

They played for 2 1/2 to 3 hours and did two encores. Bon Jovi's energy is absolutely remarkable.

At one point, he talked about Boston and terrorism. Here's a short video clip of that. And a photo the band tweeted, of his first outfit, a tee-shirt with a tape that said "We Love Boston."

I highly recommend spending the $49 to join the Bon Jovi Backstage club and getting tickets directly from them. First, the seats were great, 5th row, (not counting the four or so rows of people in the pit) in front of the stage. Second, getting in was a breeze, no lines. As soon as you pass security, there's a table for the JBJ backstage ticket holders, and your tickets are right there.

Other short clips:

It was snowing when we left the Pepsi Center. It's still snowing, and now we're in blizzard warnings. As for Bon Jovi, he's on to Salt Lake City. The band just tweeted they think they can top the show in Denver. #Because We Can.
