    nostalgic for the good old days when that old lefty DFH dubya was showing up for work at the White House by noon, wearing tie dye, with a bong in one hand, flashing peace signs with the other, singing war is not healthy for children and other living things, and always trying to stick it to the man on wall street, doesn't it?

    Bush and Cheney didn't do half of what they wanted because they feared us and outrage we were stirring.  It was going to put their party out of business and it did for two years.  But this is our guy now and where are we gonna go?

    The only reasonable place to go is nowhere except standing firm on principles and opposing the same things you opposed under Bush regardless of whether the president has an "R" or a "D" after his name.

    Bush accomplished everything he set out to accomplish, in spite of and even because of a Democratic Party that for the last two years of his presidency controlled a majority in both the House and the Senate for the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995.

    If Barack Obama keeps on getting the kinds of results he keeps on getting, it's because those are the results he was aiming for.

    Everything he's 'accomplishing' he's accomplishing on purpose, because it's what he sets out to accomplish.

    The only reasonable place to go is here.

    to the cave from whence he emerged works for me; there is no benefit to encouraging him, especially with Obama - and his natural affinity for chasing the middle based on the most extreme of the GOP positions  - on the other side.

    It really is to weep.

    Someone told me it would be good to visit the issue, as we hadn't.  This issue was settled amidst human suffering and death.  You can't really redebate it all without all the corpses, but you can distort the reality of what they are proposing without the corpses.

    I am very happy to see my home state of Illinois solidly reject Santorum.

    An easier race in the fall is not worth the damage of elevating that man.

    ...in terms of its urbanization and placement in the northeast. And I don't feel like they have any special love for Rick in the Keystone State. Romney will win PA with 40+% I think. And it's over a month away! The race is over NOW. I don't know what the mood will be in a month, but I can't help but think it won't even be THIS Rick-positive.

    are loyal.  Rick still has his fans here.  Romney is not going to get an easy win here if he wins at all.  They may have tossed Rick out in favor of Casey in 2010,  but Casey is also a favorite son in Pa.  
    I am going to guess that Santorum will win here unless the wheels fall completely off of his bus and he gives up.
