for its simplicity, the best such tribute yet.

    So simple, so beautiful.

And, as I have for much of the past several days, I find myself in tears.

I so wish I had something more to offer than my tears.

    I meant that (5.00 / 1) (#7)

mine did, too (the tears, I mean).  I guess I should have said "I didn't expect the tears that streamed down my face."

I don't watch The Voice but I was really moved by that.  As the camera panned over the singers you could see that many of them were also struggling with tears.

And it's rare for me, as well.

    I think I was crying before it even started, (5.00 / 1) (#8)

knowing that song and how it always makes me feel.  I think we've all lost a part of our souls over these senseless deaths.  I love that music can help us heal.

Music can indeed help us heal, come to terms with our grief, and other profound emotions.
I just wish that we did not have to come to terms with our emotions for such senseless, senseless tragedies.    ;-(

Apparently, he/she did not know how to add an active link.  For which, I suppose, we should be grateful.  Incompetent spammers are preferable to competent ones.   ;-)
