Can Nancy Grace Ever Stop Spinning Fibs?

Nancy Grace is now denying her wardrobe malfunction last night on DWTS.

"When I got dressed, I was wearing Petals (nipple covers) and an industrial strength bra ... my dancing dress also had a bra sewn into it," she said, adding, "I have been judged guilty without a trial ... I will go to my grave denying the nip slip."

How classic. Even when you see something with your own eyes, and the proof is right in front of her, she'll try to sell a fiction.

The pictures were on Twitter right after the show. Sure looks like an areola to me.

The point: When Nancy Grace opens her mouth about Dr. Conrad Murray or any other trial of the day, remember she either doesn't know what she's talking about or is twisting events. [More...]

She won't go home tonight on DWTS (Chas Bono or Carson probably will) but I'd rather she make a spectacle of herself on a dancing show than have the daily ability to pollute the minds of viewers tuning in for real news. The longer she stays on DWTS, the less time she has for her talk show.

Update: Chas and Carson are safe. It was Elisabetta who went home.

    Possible Photoshop alert (5.00 / 1) (#7)

I actually, I'm embarrassed to admit, DVR'd the show (frankly, hoping to see her totally humiliate herself in the dancing), and when I heard about the "wardrobe malfunction" was looking for it.  The pic on Twitter is not an image that appeared on my video, for sure and certain.  I'm in the east, so not subject to post-broadcast editing.

It definitely showed up on mine (none / 0) (#9)

I'm on the East Coast, too.  It was after the dance ended.  Tom Bergeron said something like "if this was the European version of the show this would be fine."  She apparently didn't notice it immediately and then he said something like "let me help you out here".

The director handled it in a very strange way.  Rather than cutting the camera to the audience, they briefly showed a static picture of the audience.  If you weren't playing close attention it looked like no was applauding or reacting in anyway.  Twice they did that.  It was very odd.

It's for sure there.  Only for a second or so, but it's there.

And I'm kind of embarrassed to admit it as well.

Don't you remember them oddly flashing to a group of people sitting in stone silence while the audience was cheering? A total breakaway. And Tom Bergeron commenting that what just happened would be perfectly fine on a European version of the show? It's not a photoshop.

Here's a screen grab of the same pic from the site TVNewser-- some aureole but no nip visible.

Somebody photoshopped something because both of those pix can't be right.

And just curiously, if they edited out the shot in question, how did the person who posted it on Twitter get it?

Also, I don't follow this stuff much, but I was under the impression the show was live in the Eastern time zone.  I read somewhere that they did edit out the "wardrobe malfunction" for the delayed broadcast in the west.

That one is the photoshopped version.  The image that I actually saw broadcast the other night is the one that Jeralyn posted.  Only larger.  Because it was on my TV.

But even in a larger size TV it's hard to tell if that is nip or just areola.  After wa-a-a-ay too long at looking at it, I concluded it was nip.  So it's possible that when she denies nip slip she's technically correct.  But I wouldn't count on it.

And now... ew.  Just ew.  I think I'm done talking about it :)

I'm afraid I do have a compulsion often to react against what seem to be cheap shots at unpopular people, and that includes Nancy Grace, whom I loathe and despise.

I do have to say, though, trying to imagine myself in her situation, I'm pretty darn positive I could not possibly stand up straight and calm in that shot and not be aware that that particularly sensitive portion of my anatomy was fully exposed to the air, you know what I mean?

Far as I know, she never commented on it.  There was no police investigation and no trial, so way out of her arena.

Nancy Grace gets under the skin of a lot of people but I don't think I've ever watched her for more than a nanosecond while flipping through channels.

Now that one buxom blonde they used to have on MSNBC with the gravely voice who seemed to be singly focused on the Natalee Holloway case was the one who annoyed the heck out of me.

The image you provided has been cropped.  As a viewer who always keeps the program on my DVR until I've read the ew.com TV Recap I want to say:

The image that J provided is accurate and unretouched.

I didn't go down far enough.  But to my very untrained eye the version that you provided looks more like it's been photoshopped.  Those eyebrows and lips look too perfect.  Actually I don't think those are exactly the same frame.  But really, who knows.

All I can say is that there was a little more peek-a-boo than anyone intended.

As if we needed some concrete proof that Nancy Grace likes to stretch the truth for her benefit.

I am commenting on her partners tongue, obviously he is behind and can't see, but it's hilarious that he is licking his lips at the exact same time her wardrobe malfunctions.  I think it's the second pic and it looks so pervy.

I though she had short hair ?  And I'm not trying to be mean, but damn, her hair, outfit, and body type sure so look like a certain famous Muppet, just saying.

The real question, is the FCC going to come down on this like J Jackson ?
