    "New York State of Mind," never more meaningfully.

    Now I await Bruce Springsteen doing "My City in Ruins," which also was so poignant then.  He wrote if for Asbury, NJ, but it was so heartfelt for NYC.

    And that reminded me to go listen to his song inspired by 9/11, "You're Missing."

    And then, there will be Bette Midler, who so loves NYC, taking an entire stadium to tears with "Wind Beneath My Wings."
