Late Night Post-Oscar Mood Lift

After the dismal snoozefest of theAcademy Awards, who comes along to provide the funniest skit of the night? Of all people, Jimmy Kimmel. His mock infomercial "Hottie Bodies Humpilates" is laugh out loud funny. If you missed it (and the bevy of sexy actresses who play along, including Scarlett Johansson, Emily Blunt, Sofia Vergara, Eva Longoria, Minka Kelly and Jessica Biel -- joined at the end by Lindsay Lohan), catch it on his website tomorrow or ABC. The teasers don't do it justice.

    was hilarious.

Funnier even, when it came to casting, it seems like Kimmel just got Derek Jeter to loan him his address book....

Jimmy Kimmel and Craig Ferguson are the two funniest people on late night!  ...  other than the unintentional comedy on Nightline, of course.

WOW. Was I surprised last night while watching the Oscars when a winner made a statement I never hear or see in or on the news.

Charles Ferguson is the director "Inside Job," a documentary blaming financial institutions for triggering the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression, won the Academy Award for best documentary Sunday.

Mr. Ferguson started off his acceptance speech deploring that "not a single financial executive has gone to jail and that is wrong." The statement drew applause from the Hollywood celebrity audience.

Maybe this will stiffen a spine at DOJ. Nah. It will die away and nothing will happen.

That was funny.... Link: (none / 0) (#6)

Can you believe who he gets to participate in these skits?  Although personally I preferred last year's Handsome Men Club.
