Herman Cain's Brain Misfires Over Libya Question

Rick Perry must be rubbing his hands in delight. He's got company as Herman Cain shows once again he's not ready for prime time. Watch Cain draw a blank on Obama's position on Libya. [More...]

Cain also appeared to be unclear on the issue of collective bargaining as it involves federal employees. Asked if he thought federal employees should have the ability to bargain collectively, Cain said: "They already have it, don't they?"

Told they didn't, he said, "They have unions."

Correct answer:

The American Federation of Government Employees, which represents 600,000 federal government workers in 65 agencies, says that most federal employees don't have collective bargaining over pay and benefits. They do have collective bargaining rights over working conditions.

Obama on Libya: here, here and then in this 32 page report.

More bad news for Cain: One of his accuser's boyfriends backs up her claim of sexual harassment, saying she told him about it at the time.

I've read all day. And it's probably as close to Cain's real thoughts as can be.

Also, I hold a big grudge against him for egregious misuse of his professional credentials.
This man has been a practicing obstetrician for 50 years, and yet he claims he has never once seen a case where abortion was medically necessary. That is simply not possible.
    That lie really bothers me.
