4/20 Rally Outside, House Toughens Medical Marijuana Rules Inisde

Looks like it was quite the scene outside the state capitol in Denver yesterday, as marijuana advocates celebrated 4/20, known as Marijuana Freedom Day. Inside, legislators were toughening the rules for medical marijuana. It will allow local governments to ban dispensaries, notwithstanding our state constitution. Here's the bill, as introduced. More on the House passage here.

I'm getting my smoke on in the park and see a little kid, I clip it till the coast is clear of kids.

Only exception is rock-n-roll shows, if you bring your kids there you're saying you don't mind them being exposed to rock-n-roll, in all its glory.

Odd that people don't balk at drinking in front of kids though...getting high is getting high.  Maybe it's the lack of a sweet aroma.

isn't quite as bad as being stuck in the same room or car when your parents are smoking. Forced poisoning.

in smokey rooms, cars, bars, and OTB's...I turned out allright so far, and wouldn't trade it for a poison-free upbringing...not that such a thing exists, the world is poisonous. Poison in the air, in the water, in our food.  Over-protection is poisonous too.

Maybe what those no-doubt upstanding legislators

were thinking is that the public needs to be

protected from the growing number of sick people

who are driving around impaired and causing

    accidents, assaulting people, and otherwise

    instilling fear like common drunks.

must be perfect in every way, with no actual problems to deal with, that the legislature is willing to spend valuable time, on an issue looking for a problem.

i salute colorado for being the best state, in all aspects, in the country!

...on the plus side, this at least keeps them from wasting time on "arrest the non-whites" or birther crap.

    That's something.
