Bristol Wears a Monkey Suit, Gets Lowest Score of Night

Bristol Palin came in at the bottom of the leaderboard tonight. It wasn't the monkey suit, but that she forgot most of the moves. The Baltimore Sun critic says:

“It’s like kid-forgets-the-words-during-the-talent-show painful, except on national television.”

She's still getting "polite" criticism from the judges, all of whom called her out on forgetting the moves. Will tea partiers text in to save her? I wouldn't be surprised. Right above her: Kyle and Lacey. Kyle was much better than Bristol, plus he's entertaining to watch, but I won't be suprised if he doesn't get as many viewer votes and ends up going home.

    1. why is she in this show in the first place?, and
    2. why was she wearing a monkey suit?

that exhausts my bristol palin interest for, well, my entire life.

Apparently, last night they were dancing to TV theme songs and Bristol and her partner had the theme song from (wait for it)....."The Monkees"

    (I'm serious)

1.) Bristol's involvement is part of a larger promotion effort for the upcoming mini-series "Sarah Palin(tm)'s Alaska(r)", coming this November to a televison near you.  Check with your cable provider for availability.  Operators are standing by.

2.) In an effort to boost ratings, ABC is trying to attract the elusive 18-35 Furry demographic.

over the years are there to hype something, a show, their failed career, etc. Why is Bristol considered different?  Look at "The Situation".  Who ever heard of him before DWTS?

Some of the contestants are/were horrifyingly bad dancers and still stuck around.  It doesn't surprise me that Bristol is one of them. She's not an entertainer. She's a kid.  It doesn't matter who her mom is.

The show is a popularity contest.  Just because the tea party keeps her in, it doesn't mean she's any different from any other contestant who has been kept in for stupid reasons.  Votefortheworst.com is a whole web site focused on keeping incompetent reality stars on their shows.

I suggest people who find her very existence offensive should ignore her.  It's bad for people's health to waste their energy on such things.

... had heard of "The Situation" if they are viewers of "Jersey Shore".  Since I am not he was new to me as well.  Kind of grew on me I have to say.

But as far as Bristol is concerned, I have NO problems with her being there.  Sure, the only reason she was asked was her mother.  But I think the reason she accepted was her son.  At least I would have.  Where else is she going to make this kind of money?  Gives her a whole new level of independence, so good on her.

Having said that, I find her rather sweet but completely unwatchable.

to feel sorry for Bristol. They obviously used her hoping for ratings but she's a poor match for the show. Perhaps the most apt description would be that she looks like a participant on the first day of cotillion class for high school freshman. (or Yankee hitters against Cliff Lee)

If she was anyone else the judges would have blistered her this evening and given her 4's. For her own well being, going home tomorrow before the floor caves in would probably be a very good thing.

think that's too cruel. Can you imagine them caring about Micheal Bolton's or Kyle's brithday? I think Len;'s Bolton-type taken down of Kyle tonight had another purpose --with the other two judge praising some minor aspects of her perfomrance  -- ke could cause a lot of people to vote Bristol over Kyle. This show isn't stupid. They know exactly how long each contestant must stick around to keep ratings high. They will want to hold onto her as long as possible and then let her go. She's no Jennifer Grey, no Brandy and no Audrina (or whatever he name is.) Cherly does all the work for Rick and the football guy comes off like a suburban dad -- only Lacey props him up.

The winner has got to be Jennifer, with Brandi or Audrina competing for a close second.

    Worst season ever.

I haven't watched last night's episode yet, but last week's Argentinian Tango was incredible.
