    President Clinton just spoke at halftime of the Lakers/Knicks game on ESPN.

    That man can handle a crowd like no other.

    They just had him on also and (5.00 / 2) (#8)

    I was thinking the same thing. He just knows how to deliver the right info in the right way. You listen to him.

    and Anderson Cooper a lot. I saw the extended version of Dr. Gupta treating the newborn the other night and his personality and bedside manner were really impressive. He seems smart too. And like he's lost 10 pounds this week, his face is really thin tonight.

    have been seriously pitching in in Haiti. In addition to Gupta, I've seen Richard Besser from ABC, Jennifer Ashton from CBS and Nancy Snyderman from NBC. All of them have been treating patients as well as doing stand-up reports. And they are all still in Haiti.

    They all look tired. Not a bit of make-up on any of these TV docs this week.

    ABC news report on Michelle Obama, this week's Person of the Week.
    They showed a clip of Michelle and Barack dancing at the inauguration and I got a little wistful and teary-eyed remembering what a positive moment that was.

    Sigh.

    I beg your pardon. (5.00 / 1) (#2)

    the acoustic music and sad songs. It doesn't seem hopeful enough. I think people would give more if it had more energy.

    I will say, I'm liking most of the women. And will DL some of the performances.

    Most of the speakers have been pretty passionate and I think they are connecting well, but it could just be me being emotional and all . . . the images of the children . . .  {weep}
