It is scheduled for 3 pm. You can watch on C-Span2 or online here.

According to C-Span, there are 67 committed Yes votes and 31 No votes. Ted Kennedy is listed as a committed Yes vote so perhaps he will be appearing for the vote.

    I have nothing but respect for Teddy; he has been one of the giants of the Senate.  His terrible  illness is a loss for the country (especially on health care legislation) as well as for him and his family.  But his illness prevents him from serving, and it isn't going to get better.  He should resign his seat so that MA voters can elect a Senator who can represent their interests; holding on to job he can no longer perform increasingly becomes a selfish act that tarnishes a brilliant career.

    Particularly since the likely front runner as his replacement is Martha Coakley (currently MA attorney general), and we desparately need more good liberal women in the Senate.
