Via Huffington Post and Mashable, Apple has approved a medical marijuana app for iPhones:

Apple has approved a new $2.99 iPhone app, aptly named Cannabis [iTunes link]. It’s made by the also appropriately-named Ajnag.com. The purpose of the app is to help locate legal medical marijuana in states and locations where it can be found. Will this app lead thousands of iPhone users to cannabis, or is it a tool of a movement in favor of marijuana legalization? The answer, surprisingly, is both:

    ...on today's big BOH hearing on MM, Jeralyn?  

    That application may not work here if they do decide to limit providers to 5 "customers".

    Are there going to be apps for prostitution, gambling, riding without a helmet, smoking legal and taxed cigarettes, polygamy, etc...? Making progress at the speed of glaciers

    we can hope...especially a gambling and tax-free smokes locator, not that I would know how to work an iphone to take advantage.

    They've already got plenty of Poker apps and hookup apps.
    I'm hoping for a geolocator for where the nude sunbathing middle-aged lesbians hang out.
