Dancing With the Stars and 24 are on tonight.

If you're looking for something more topical, check out PBS's "expose" on Sheriff Joe Arapio. It aired Friday night and is now available for instant viewing on your computer.

One of the most controversial figures in the illegal immigration debate is Joe Arpaio, the longtime sheriff of Arizona's Maricopa County, whose aggressive hard line on local crime has received national attention. But has Sheriff Arpaio, who's made the most of federally-granted authority to enforce immigration laws, crossed the line when it comes to serving and protecting his community? Some critics have accused him of racial profiling.

It's a "look at what Sheriff Arpaio was — and wasn't — doing in the name of law enforcement." I haven't seen it yet, but PBS says most of the view reaction to the show was negative.

Just watched an old episode of Hawaii Five-0 while at the gym....

Wonderful 1970 episode about stopping a biological attack by getting the scientist who created the virus to tell them where the hidden vial is that will kill everyone in Hawaii in 12 hours....A ticking time bomb scenario....The military tries sodium pentathol and some harsh, non-physical, questioning--no good, the guy is not talking...

McGarrett argues that the scientist should be let go, and they can follow him to see if tries check on the vial....

McGarrett argues that by pressing the scientist further they would get no information and perhaps push him into a breakdown insuring they get nothing.

So, they let the scientist go, and his new girlfried, Loretta Switt (Hot Lips from M*A*S*H), convinces the scientist to tell them where the dreaded vial is...

And, now we have torture-loving 24.

I have a love-hate relationship with this show which seems to inspire such split emotion, esp with its odd religiosity and "faith" issues which tend to repel me. I have a love-love appreciation for Holly Hunter, however, so I give the show the benefit of my doubts.

Saving Grace is repeated at midnight, so I can catch DWTS or something else beforehand.

then it is on to Medium, this show just fascinates me, then some news and then Grace. I, too have a great appreciation for Holly Hunter.
DWTS had some really good performances tonite of the Argentine Tango, I got interrupted and missed Melissa's performance tho.
I think Steve has overstayed his usefulness and also Holly Madison.

that debuted on HBO last night. The first episode two hours long, so we saved half for tonight.

The books are such fun and brought to life by a great cast. And Botswana is just gorgeous. Plus, that African musical score turns any other tv show tinny.

She is so my favorite. Lil Kim is my second favorite. Kim and Derek were great in the Argentine Tango or whatever it was. The cranky judge is pretty funny.

Not only did she get a great op to flip the nationwide TV dump, she's obviously doing something she loves and is good at. From what I can tell, her last job didn't fit that bill. More power to her for stepping up to the op.

is a tough dance that you just have to feel. I didn't like Little Kim's and I didn't even like Edyta's tango. Neither showed the sexy and sultry melding of two bodies. They were mechanical at best. Cheryl Burke did it right and so did her partner, Gilles Marini. I was surprised that Edyta wasn't better but maybe she's just not into Lawrence or perhaps he was too uptight. It was almost like she was respecting his space and didn't get too close.

David Caruso seem to you to be as much a caricature of himself as he does to me? He is as one-dimensional an actor as anyone I have ever seen, and it drove me crazy to the point where I couldn't even watch the show anymore.

It is the bright yellows, the sunshine on everything....and the brilliant colors of the lab and police headquarters.....I have watched while barely awake, and it is gently mezmerizing....

the only thing I watch now on Mondays is Medium, and sometimes Antiques Roadshow.

I don't know why, but I just have never been able to get into DWTS. And I used to be a big fan of 24, but now it just doesn't hold my interest.

Mondays seem to be about trying to finish up the Sunday NYT crossword!

He is elected time after time. It's pretty obvious the people there think he is doing what they need done in their community.

His style wouldn't survive in the part of the country I live, so I don't quite get him, but it's not my place to judge the millions of people who want him in that job in their community.

judge everyone who supports human rights abuses. The popularity of a psychopath is irrelevant. Hitler was popular. Arpaio is popular. They are all the same. They are barely even human.
