Who's keeping tabs on you? The Forensic Scientist Blog has a list of the top six files the government keeps on you, how to obtain them, and why you should have them.

Cateories: The FBI, CIA, Homeland Security, Earnings Records, Criminal Records and Court Records. According to the blog, if your FBI record is under 50 pages, it's free.

    out and snapping photos in Crawford TX I don't want to know.  There's probably some note in there about finding portapotties intolerable.  Definitely weakens my terrorism capabilities, not being able to pee outdoors among other things.

    ... needs you (and me) to show some love now that the economy has (temporarily) taken out one of its biggest donors.

    They always get some from me but this is a good time to dig deep, find what coin you can and redraw that line in the sand.

    as to who the government thinks I am...but not enough to actually deal with any of these outfits requesting copies of my files.

    As long as they leave me alone I'll leave them alone:)

    that I was going to be declared an enemy combatant and hauled off to Gitmo, because every time I used my Verizon phone to talk with my sisters about politics, I always talked about how much I hated Bush and Cheney. I always ended the conversation (and made my sister laugh) by giving a disclaimer and saying, "For the NSA personnel who are listening into this conversation, thanks to Verizon, my name is Julie __ and I will save you the trouble of finding me.  I am at __. I await your arrival."

    All the other spook agencies have recruited them whenever conducting political surveillance. My 1979 FOIA on them netted 69 pages.
