The State Department's Website Under Hillary

Check out the new State Department Website. It has Hillary's theme, Diplomacy in Action and a transcript of her confirmation hearing testimony.

There's a blog, DipNote. Look for other features to go live after she's confirmed. [More...]

The blog is asking this question and the blog takes comments: "What foreign policy objectives should the Obama Administration establish as its top priorities?"

There's also a section for available jobs.

The website updating, like that for the White House that I wrote about yesterday, is the work of a team led by Macon Phillips, the director of new media for the White House.

    Obama re-takes oath of office (5.00 / 2) (#26)
by wurman on Wed Jan 21, 2009 at 07:03:59 PM EST
Bill Burton told NBC that the prez was sworn in again.  Greg Craig re-affirms that.  [Hilarity ensues.]

Take that right in the labonzas you rightwingnutz & assorted examiners of birth certificates, oaths administered by "an expert" constitutional TEXT scholar, & pigeon entrails (or sacrificial lamb intestines).

But does he have to re-execute (none / 0) (#30)

stuff is inoperative?  Were the inaugural balls bogus?  Does Gitmo get to stay open?

But wait, half an oath is better than none.

    Well of course (none / 0) (#33)

he only re-took the oath out of sight of everyone so that he could do it on the Qur'an like he really wanted all along.
