Stump the Candidate: Open Thread

Well I used to be disgusted

Now I try to be amused

That's my reaction to Gov. Sarah Palin's offer in Michigan to have voters play "Stump the Candidate."

This is an open thread.

saw McCain and Palin taking questions from the crowd as opposed to Obama reading from a teleprompter.  Why can't Obama this far into his campaign speak without a teleprompter?  Clinton used to just take questions from the crowd....it was impressive and sincere at the same time.
At least Palin put herself out there. McCain answers a question in very simple language.  Obama gives you a lecture.

This week in Colorado there was a teleprompter
in the middle of the crowd....very visible.
Why can't Obama speak to a crowd 17 months into a election without a teleprompter.  Why can't he take questions from the crowd?

This is a very powerful woman in the Clinton circle and I find it interesting that not only is she not supporting Obama, but does not condemn McCain like a good Democrat.

In case people thought the PUMA movement was a farce, think again.  Her public breakaway will mean alot to those Hillary supporters who did not want to support Obama.

By the way, Obama has done NOTHING to help Hillary raise money to retire her debt.  I don't believe the Obama camp has been very inclusive of Hillary's supporters and donors.

she's talking in code. First she accuses Obama of creating class warfare. Then she can't list one issue he disagrees with Hillary on. Then she says she's a Democrat, and Democrats believe in fair play. Translation: Obama took the nomination from Hillary so I won't support him.

made their decision. Saturday, May 31st.  You had a graphic up with a yellow legal pad that came up right after the live blogging was over with the TL logo on it and you said something to the effect about Obama stealing the nomination.

You have argued that Obama stole nothing but the nomination was given to him.  Why is it then, that this woman, who was a Democratic platform committee member, raised a lot of money for Democratic causes, is now not worthy of air time?

I can tell you ONE issue that Obama and Hillary disagreed on:  FISA.  Kinduva big one with those who value their civil rights.

I would have gladly chimed that one in for her.  Call me crazy but I have a problem when a Democrat agrees with Bush43 with regard to spying on its own citizens.
