I've been TELLING you people all along!  Do you get it now???  At least Homer does, finally ;-)

But seriously, folks, I say yet again the sheer truth that NO individual vote on an electronic voting machine and NO individual vote counted electronically can be proven accurate.  Period.  It is utterly a faith-based system.

So-called paper trails have been shown to be seriously flawed and there are ways to hack the vote even when a voter observes an incorrect vote on a print-out and gets it fixed.

And once again: The only way to insure that a vote is counted as intended is to hand-count a paper ballot.  You also need an impeccable chain of custody at every step and citizen observation and oversight of the entire process; i.e. full transparency.

Secret ballot, yes.  Secret counting, NO!

We deserve nothing less than a complete, fair, and accurate tally of votes and for every vote to be counted as intended.

See the Brad Blog and Black Box Voting for incredible eye-opening amounts of carefully documented information.

If McCain wins, wouldn't you just wonder?

We shouldn't have to wonder.  We should KNOW how the vote is counted and have confidence in the results.  Right now, faith is all we have.
