Rudy Giuliani's immigration reform plan contains a requirement that immigrants learn to read, write and speak English before being allowed to become citizens.

Think Progress reports today he released a new campaign ad in Florida ...in Spanish.

It doesn't get much better than this.  I think if change and experience are the key words for the Dem. Primary.  Hypocrisy should be the key word for the republican primary.

Will the Republicans notice the hypocrisy? (none / 0) (#2)

the amount of Hispanic republicans has been shrinking rapidly, the wall and immigration really has hurt the GOP among Hispanics here in Texas.

Cubans in Florida are a completely different story though.

    is the word in Spanish.

The end, where he says in Spanish, "I'm Rudy Giuliani and I approved this message" is great.

"Soy Rudy Giuliani y aprobé este mensaje"

I don't know if Republicans are getting THAT, but they do seem to dislike him the more they see him. He's not just an incredible hypocrite, he's rude, gloomy and politically incoherent. Looking at his positions, I can't see a rhyme or reason to his ideas. There's no interconnecting ideology there, much like Willard R.

oh yes there is a rhyme and reason (none / 0) (#12)

I forgot about his $9.11 fundraiser. Man say what you will about the Democrats but these Republicans are pretty scummy.

He is talking about how Regan put his confidence in him to battle crime in New York. He is bragging about how he lowered crime rates, reduced taxes, created new jobs and cut bureaucracy.

He could in New York and he can in Washington.

Rudy Giuliani: experience, competence, and leadership.

I am Ruddy Giuliani and I approve this message.

Can anyone translate it further (none / 0) (#18)

    Into truth?

Like saying, Ronald Reagan reminded me when I wanted to be mayor of NY that race-baiting works, and how! I won against an incumbent black mayor in 93 and began to cut taxes so my white supporters wouldn't know I was racially profiling and that that sometimes led to the NYPD beating and killing black civilians. In other words, Republican through and through.

I'm Rudy Giuliani and I support this message.
