    I finally understood why Hillary has said that she has fought for change since she left law school - tonight she said she first worked for the Chidren's Defense Fund under Edelman.  I remember reading Edelman's book back in 1991/2 about saving our children.  So it makes total sense that HRC is really the change candidate and can back it up with real work she has done.

    On a more comic note, I think I finally get all the rage by the mediocre guys - she is Hermoine to their Ron.  She can take two classes at the same time and remember EVERYTHING from both.  Must make them nuts...if if they have any taset...fall in love.

    going to be enforced?  In the absence of that information, I don't see how her plan is much different.

    It won't work....a mandate makes the insurances have to be more competitive....she and edwards agree on this....They will find a way that is fair to all IMHO

    how will the mandate be enforced by the government?  Take money from payckecks?  arrest you?  give you a fine?  And what happens if someone simply can't afford the insurance?

    for which I haven't heard answers.

    And I don't see how a mandate magically makes insurance more affordable.  Auto insurance is mandated, and there were times in my life I couldn't afford it.  

    With mandated insurance, I still uninsured folks showing up in emergency rooms needing care. Under the mandated plans, will they be considered criminals?

    If Hillary's health care was so good why wasn't it implemented when her husband was president she is just another want a be.Anybody who would vote for her really needs to look futher into themselves,meaning standing by a man who lied to the american people on camera to the whole nation  I mean why would we want her for president she wants it for the power and the first lady president only.Other wise she wouldn't be shouting out at Sen. Obama and his plans he running for I'm republican and he's getting my vote I think.

    several times to introduce it and was shut down by the republicans....Was really ugly, and I remember it well...

    also to address the other question, I think the health care will be introduced on a sliding scale with income....so if you cant afford it you wont have to pay as much etc etc....I dont know the particulars but I am totally uninsurable and need this help badly.....

    a donation tonight. i also recommend you take a long look at the congress, media, and insurance companies when you make comments about her attemtps at helping the american people with health care when clinton had his first term.

    That's the name of Senator Clinton's plan. (Try saying it out loud.)

    When her policy advisors talk about that plan they refer to "Individual Mandates."

    A Clinton adviser compares the plan's "individual mandate" -- which requires everyone to have health insurance -- to current rules in most states that require all drivers to purchase auto insurance

    When CNN reported on the announcement of Senator Clinton's Health Care Proposal this how they explained it to the American people:

    In her plan, Clinton said families would receive tax credits to help pay for coverage. The tax credit would be designed to limit the premiums to a percentage of a family's income. Federal subsidies would be provided for those who are not able to afford insurance, and large businesses would be expected to provide or help pay for their employees' insurance. Clinton said her plan would not require small businesses to take part, but will offer tax credits to encourage them to do so.

    That's how the new Clinton plan was unveiled to the press and explained to the public in Des Moines, Iowa, last September.

    ARE OFFERING A UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE PLAN.

    Kucinich was the only one with a universal health care plan.

    To call their plans universal health is simply a lie.

    will universal health care not work but it won't happen in this country.

    Even if democrats win the whitehouse and control congress they won't be able to garner the political will to overhaul the helthcare system.  

    Americans don't like being told what to do and they will not except a goverment system.   They want the current system fixed, not overhauled.

    Sooner the democrats figure that out the better off they'll be.
