Goodbye, Karl Rove

Today was Karl Rove's last day at the White House. He got all choked up.

With Larry Craig going tomorrow, I suspect this song will be in my head all weekend -- Patty Smythe and Scandal, "Goodbye to You."

    Goodbye Karl Rove (none / 0) (#1)

Thanks to Karl our country is now hated, laughed at and no longer considered the leader of the "free world". he has successfully created a nation without leadership run by criminals both republicans and democrats. How in the world can a country with such resources and great caring people accept this type of governmental administration and congress infested by corruption and political malfeasance is unbelievable.

The United States urgently needs a leader not afraid to stand up against the "moral" Christian right, the media representatives only looking for early childhood learning errors.

I am sick with the political parties and the news media haunting candidates with stupid news stories about what a candidate did or said 5, 10, 15, 25 years ago while he or she learned about life.

Busch is a good example of a mama's boy elected president and being controlled by a self serving corporate environment. The Clinton's greed and political corruption is unparalleled to any U.S. presidency.

If a true leader does not surface for 2008, it is time to get out of here.

choked him? ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, sorry, misread that! lol

oh well, one can always hope.

i'd like to say that this closes out one of the worst episodes of political philandering ever seen, in our nation's history. not even close, really. by comparison to the scumbags jefferson & lincoln had to deal with, rove is a rank amateur. he just had the good fortune to be around at a time of a massive media explosion: newspapers, magazines, tv, radio, the internet, cable, dish, etc.

give him credit for picking up on it first, and having absolutely no sense of shame or propriety.

Seem apropos to mark this occasion by laying a wreath of dead black roses and yellow carnations on the first pile of doggie poo one comes across.

Except that it would be a waste of flowers and poo.

Bye Karl, hope you get what you gave.

And don't mind those demons in the night. It's just the ghosts of Joe McCarthy, Dick Nixon, Lee Atwater and all those dead Iraqis and New Orleanians come to keep you company and remind you of who and what you are.

As if you could ever forget.
