Alberto Gonzales, fresh from his trip to Iraq, is headed to....Harbor Springs, MI.

He'll be conducting a press conference and meeting there with "Michigan's Twelve Sovereign Indian Nations Leaders to discuss efforts to combat violent crime in Indian Country."

A skeptic might say they don't want Gonzales in Washington or anywhere near the Justice Department.

    The rest of us simply realize that you are utterly obsessed with Gonzales.  Read RedState - no one on the right has a lot of respect for him, but the left is just obsessed.

    America legal system or American values of such as de process, they would want Gonzo gone too. Its been my observation that most "law and order" conservatives are less interested in law and more interested in order.

    is a lot like taking a bath in a sewer.

    I'm not obsessed with Gonzales.  I'm just obsessed with ensuring that he isn't allowed to flush the consitution down the toilet.

    The AG lying to Congress is a rather big deal.  And, please, no one try to convince me that he really just has a terrible, terrible memory.  The man is well educated and an effective legal mind.  You either have to argue that the AG couldn't pass a 1L final or you must come to terms with the fact that he's lying.  
    Cue the inevitable wailing Re: Bill Clinton.
