What Goes Around Comes Around?

If true, this is appropriate irony. Newshounds reports:

We just got some wonderful news! One of our readers received a letter from Lowe's saying their ads will no longer appear during The O'Reilly Factor. We have not gotten any details yet but we'll keep you posted. Here's the letter below.
Dear Lowe's Customer,

Thank you for your comments regarding the program, The O'Reilly Factor.

Lowe's has strict guidelines that govern the placement of our advertising. Our company advertises primarily in national, network prime-time television programs and on a variety of cable outlets.

Lowe's constantly reviews advertising buys to make certain they are consistent with its policy guidelines. The O'Reilly Factor does not meet Lowe's advertising guidelines, and the company's advertising will no longer appear during the program [My emphasis]. . . .

They did pull their ads months ago and just recently they started to appear on FOX and The Factor again.
I would know this because I have been one of the monitors collecting ad data. We have recieved several letters so far from other readers who recieved the same letter. As I said in the post that's all I know at this point. However, 186, I don't expect to look stupid since News Hounds has been actively working on this project with Brave New Films and we are not uninformed. However, if the stream of letters we recieve all turn out to be fake, I will post that without embarrassment.

How do you like that Bill O'Reilly? Lowe's doesn't like your super stupid show and neither do I. I'm going to go buy some lumber at super awesome Lowe's right now. Or maybe tomorrow. If I don't forget to. Yeah.

Why are you harassing me? If I'm respectful of you, you should be respectful of me. My blogs might not suit you but, that doesn't mean they are inappropriate. Huffington Post digs me because I keep things light when things get a little too serious.

They maay have pulled ads from O'Reilly (Malkin was on there last night - BLECH) but Lowes is still running lots of ads on Fox News Channel

    That is likely (none / 0) (#12)
